*he glazed over at Thor and let out a silent sigh, his brother still thought and cared about him a lot as it seems and yet he couldn't just be like before*

//Or can I? Can I really be the outsider brother again? No. Everyone hates me and distrusts me, Thor is probably the only one left alive who had a little faith in me...but now isn't the time to think about that.//

*Loki could see the walls of Vanaheim's capital ahead and put a hand on Thor's shoulder to stop him, his touch only gentle as a feather*

From here you need to follow my lead. I will make sure nobody knows who we are but if we are still hold back, please, please let me talk and keep Mjolnir hidden! I will bring us to the scepter.

°Thor°
*stops as Loki touchs is shoulder almost getting goosebumps from how gentls it feels*
*looks at him questionly*
*listens carefully and nods slowly*
Alright. I will do as you say.

°Loki°

*he nods, his expression compleatly serious and he casts an illusion over Thor to make him look like a Vanaheim guard, he turns into his disguise too*

Well don't we look pretty? Good now behave till we are inside.

*Loki walks into the city with Thor at his side, nobody blocking their way or giving them much attention till they are in the wide hallways of Vanaheim's castle*

°Thor°
*grins*

*also serious and follows Loki silently*
*looks around unsuspiciously*

°Loki°

*they arrive near the dungeons of the castle, nobody saw them or hold them back, he turns to Thor and whispers*

Where is the scepter kept? When we get closer I will release thew illusion from you and make sure that any detective spell won't notice us.

°Thor°
*looks around carefully*
*whispers*
It should be down there..
*points at the big staircase that goes down*
As far as I know is the treasure room the last one in the floor with a big heavy door with thousands of locks. So basically it screams "Treasure Room". Unmissable.
*looks around again*

*hurries down the stairs with Loki*

°Loki°

*he stares at his brother and raises a brow*

Well that explanaiton was even for stupid people. I wonder how you plan to get through the door...

*he hurries after Thor and looks around, when he is sure nobody is there he let himself and Thor have their natural aperance and then at the end of a long dark corriodor a huge iron door with thousands of locks guarding it but no guards*

I never understood Vanaheim people...they are way too trustful. But their magic is strong...stay away from the door!

*he steps close to the door and raises his hand, brows furrowed; his palm starts to glow in a dark green like his eyes and sweatdrops form on his forehead as he concentrates his magic on the door and locks*

//This is tricky, the locks are surrounded by a strong guarding spell. If I make just one wrong move an alarm will go off...//

*he contimues to work deeply concentrated till all locks make a soft 'click' sound and the door swings open soundlessly*

°Thor°
*rolls his eyes*
You and your complains.
*slowly gets annoyed*
I'm sure you find a way, brother~. 
*smiles sweetly*
*arrives the door with you and stays away like you told him to*
*watches you almost worried*
*hears the clicks*
Hah! Perfect! Well done Loki~!
*grins*
*slowly pushes the door open*
*peeks inside*

*he daps away some drops of sweat from his forehead and tugs his hair behind his head,rolling his eyes at the compliment Thor makes*

You should be more quiet brother. And maybe you should let me go first, I can sense the magic easily. You can tell me when you see what we came for.

*hr pushes past Thor insidr the huge hall where tons of jewls and golds is kept and along the walls important looking reliquies are put under glass to prtect them*

//I can't sense any spells that will give us away...but I sense a great magic force. This must be what Thor wants.//

*he walks agead towards the magic force he sense and sees a soft gleam of light at the end of the long hall, the scepter; as he sees it he can't help but gasp at it in awe*

°Thor°
*grumbles as Loki pushes past him*
*follows short after*
*watches Loki carefully before looking around*
*doesn't take him long to spot the scepter*
*goes past Loki and approachs it quickly*
There it is..
*chuckles at Lokis comment*
I knew you'd like it..
*takes it carefully*
*takes off his cape and wraps it around the scepter tightly to block the light and the magic flowing out of the krystal*
*attaches it on his belt*

*rushes back to the door*

°Loki°

*he can't believe his eyes as Thor just grasps the scepter and hides it away from him, a part in him wants to jump at Thor and rips the scepter off him but he controlls himself and stays calm*

You know therr could have been a dangerous spell on it...seriously you still act way too fast and think too slow.

*he tries to get a glaze at the magic weapon but it is now with Thor and out of his reach for the moment*

//something like that is not made for ghe hands of a warrior like him...I can still feel it's magic, it's overwhelming..//

*again they rush througb the hall, this time their aim is to get out unseen, as soon as they locked the door behind them again he tries to pull up an illusion around them but then everything happens too fast; an arrow shoots past them and hits the door, yells come from the stairs and warriors in black and very Vanaheim-unlikely clothes block their way to freedom*

We have guests...



*he pulls out the sword Thor gave him and gets ready*

Try not to attract too much attention on us and get us out in.one.piece!

°Thor°
And you act way too suspicious.
*scoffs*
As if you'd care if something happens to me.
*looks down for a split of a second*
*rushes though the hall and closes the door the locks clicking back shut again*
*just turned around as an arrow rushes past him*
Seems like we're not the only ones that want to give the treasure room a visit.
*smirks*
Nothing better than this..
*graps Mjolmir on it's loop and spins it as he approachs the worriers confidently*
Step out of the way and nothing will happen to you. I promise.
*another arrow flies in his direction and he hit it away with his hammer*
Okay. The hard way then.
*throws Myolmir and it hits the archer hard in the face*
*runs in thier direction and catches his hammer on the way as it flew back*
*hits the next one as he reachs them*

°Loki°

*he ignores Thirs comment about him not caring for him and as his brother starts to fight his way thriugh he stays behind to hold his back*

//Once you trusted me, now you think I don't even care anymore...fool.//

*he sighs softly and then a smirk curls his lips as the adrenalien of the fight rushes through his veins*



//I have to catch up and as soon as we can we should fly away. Those attackers are no guards so they will keep the guards busy and we can just run away.//

*he catches up with Thor slowly, twirling around with his sword and here and there one of the enemies falls heavily wounded; his robe flies around him as he fights yet he doesn't dare use his magic, don't dare to give himself away yet*

Brother!! When we reach outside bring us out of here!!

*he calls out to Thor and hops he will understand, suddenly a huge warrior runs towards him and he gets distracted from shielding Thor's back as he fights on his own; he breathes heavily, not used to this anymore and as the other tries to chop his head off with a war axe only a trick helps him, a deadly green lightning burns a hole in the huge man's chest*

°Thor°
*looks at Loki fighting elegantly*
//He looks like he's dancing..//
*hits another enemy out of the way*


*another big warrior runs towards him with a big axe*
*spins Mjolmir and some electricity skarling out of it* 
*lets go and Mjolmir hit the man hard against the chest giving him a electro shock*
*he falls down and a path becomes free between the people*
Loki! Quick!
*turns around searchin for him*
*kicks one of Loki's attackers out of the way and grabs Loki's hand*
*runs through the beaten up people and up the stairs*

°Loki°

*he is in the middle of fighting as the noise behind him gets less and just as he twirls around to look what is happening Thor grabs his hand and pulls him up the stairs*

Was about time. Did you get a bit rusty?

*he jumps over wounded or even dead bodies without the slightest emotion, rushing towards the nearest window with Thor*

We just need to get out of here!

*all of a sudden another party of fierce looking fighters (no guards) run around a corner and start screaming as they see them*

Brother! Now!

//I can't fight any longer, my strength is faiding.//

°Thor°
Oh, shut up, Loki!
*replies annoyed as Loki complains again*
Yes yes I know..
*as the next fighters show up he quickely smashes the window*
Hold on tight!
*wraps his free arme around Loki an jumps out of the window flying towards the forest*
*suddenly a black fire ball of black magic hits him on the back burning though his armor like acid*
Arrghh...
*let's out a scream of pain*
*loses control over Mjolmir and falls*
*quickle turns around and hugs Loki protectively as he crashes into the forest breaking a few trees from the force of his fall until he hits the ground hard and sliding a few meters before he finally comes to halt*

*groans in agony*
*a trail of blood on the ground where he landed and his protective grip around Loki loosens*

°Loki°

*as Thor smashes the window and wraps an arm around him he just hugs Thor's neck tightly, definitly not wanting to fall; a part of him already celebrates their victory as suddenly the dark magic hits the blind thunder god and makes him crash into the forest; Loki tries to stop their fall but Thor has his arms around him protectivly and he can only groan at the impact with the ground*

//He is hurt! That magic was not casted well but it was strong enough. He must be hurt!//

Thor?!

*as the other's grip loosens around him he kneels next to his brother only to see the blood he looses and the scratches from the crash*



Your back..turn around!

*he comands sharply but as Thor only groans he grips his brother's shoulder and waist and rolls him on his stomach; the magic had melted away Thor's armour and the edges of the wound are black and dripping with blood and something else, Thor's whole upper back a horrible open wound, yet no bones seem to be damaged*

I need to clean this... And I need bandages and I need more magic!

*he curses and rips his own rope off, trying to bandage the ugly wound at least a bit*

Thor..can you hear me? I will bring you to the glider ok? And then I will heal you.

*he wasn't even thinking anymore, he lifted Thor up with his last strength and carries him to the hidden glider*

//I have to bring him back. I have to, or they will all try to kill me. When I bring him back he owns me....//

°Thor°
*groans in pain*
*lets out a pained sound as Loki turns him around*
*his whole body arching*
*can barely breath*
*with a trembling hand he reaches for Loki's hand.
L-Loki.. run..!
*coughs*
Leave me behind.. save yourself...
...brother...
*chokes this last words out before losing consciousness*
*his body getting limp*
*gets carried by Loki*

°Loki°

*he is scared, he had to admit that, but not scared about himself but for Thor; he.managed to carry Thor to the glider and put him down in the well hidden vehicle, carefully he folled him on his side to examine the wound again, a bitter and ugly smell hit his nose*

You are such a moron! And idiot! Why would I run? Everyone thinks I will run, will save myself, will never help anyone and just want the best for me. Everyone thinks that...everyone hates me.

*he rambles on silently while he fishes out a water bottle to wash the wound carefully, trying to hold Thor still as the other's body rebells against the imense pain he must be in*

It's gonna be ok, you hear me? It will be ok!

*only then he realizes the tears runing down his cheek and he feels he can't let Thor behind, he never could, all the times he tried to kill his brother before, all the times he worked against him were just games, games he could controll but this was something else, something bad; he could smell the black magic from the wound, slowly eating up Thor's life, he had to act quickly but he was weak*

I need magic... I need more strength...

//The scepter!!//

*with wild eyes he searched for the forgotten magical artefact and found it half burried under Thor, he pulled it out and the magical force reached out to him as his fingers touched warm metal*

*Loki takes a deep, shaky breath and puts the scepter in his lap, one hand holding it and the other hovering over Thor's back wound; a soft, green gleam apeared under his palm and his magic fights against the dark one; life against death*

°Thor°
*flinches and groans from the unbearable pain*
*tries to pull away from Loki with a whimper*
*the pain bringing him into a half conscious and half unconcious state*
*his body reacts but doesn't really know whats happening*
*breaths heavily and trembles hard*
Arghhh.. aahhh!!
*screams in agony as Loki works on his wound*
*grabs Lokis hand on the scepter*
*flinches and whimpers*
*gripping Lokis hand even tighter*

°Loki°

*the pained  screams and cries of Thor make him flinch, he never heard his brother make such sounds before*

I am sorry, I am sorry Thor. I am sorry..

*he mumbles on and on while his magic cleans and closes the wound slowly, his own strength faiding again*

Hold on...it's over soon.

*he looks at Thor's hand on his and his gaze softens, he couldn't let his brother die*

If you dare die I will bring you back to life just to kick you back into Hel's realm with my own hands!

*his voice hitches and he brings up the rest of his concentration and strength to close the wound, yet a huge red scar is s visible*

//I am sorry brother, I can't do more. You have to live...you are the only one who still cares for me...//

*as he is done he sinks back against the wally of the glider, breathing heavily and watching the massive body of the blond god who looks so small amd weak now*

°Thor°
*groans one last time heavily as the wound closes*
*whimpers softly before the burning pain finally stops and all his strength leaves his body and his body loses his tension*
*lies there lifelessly but his breath calming down*
*the wound still hurting but bearable*

°Loki°

*he must have fallen asleep because he suddenly sits up straight as a stick cracks in the woods, Loki peeks out of the glider only to sigh heavily as a deer looks at him with huge eyes and then trots on*

//Nobody found us, we are save...we...//

*his gate gets drawn to Thor and he slowly turns his arching body to face the other; he can see Thor's chest rising and falling gently, meaning he is still alive*

You made it through...stubborn idiot.

*Loki smiles softly but he is weak too and he knows they can't stay here for long, can't stay here with the scepter and unable to fight; he rolls up his robe and puts it under Thor's head carefully, not wanting to disturbe his brother's sleep because sleep can heal all wounds, he also bandages the scar, still kind of small wound with fresh clothes and then covers him with a blanket he found in the glider*

I should bring you home...

//But I will get thrown into the dungeons again or even worse, Thor nearly died...he is still not save from death yet and they will blame me, the king..and mother.. I need to bring him to a save place but not Asgard.//

*a heavy sigh leaves his lips and he uses the scepter to lean on as he gets on his feet and starts the glider silently, the soft magic pulsing gives him some energy again and only bow he feels his own wounds and scratches ache and heal*

//He saved me..he protected me as we fell.//

*his eyes find Thor's body again and he has to pull himself together to fly the glider deeper and deeper into Vanaheim's magical forest; he would hide himself and Thor there, under the guard of ancient trees and magic; he would heal here and it would heal gis brother, he eas sure about that; the trees got bigger and bigger the deeper they came and the buzzing of magic filled the air like thick honey, after what seemed hours, Loki stopped the glider at a huge tree with lians hanging down from the branches and soft grass and Moos spreading over the giant roots

°Thor°
*sleeps calmy the whole time*
*suddenly he starts to get restless again*
*his back hurting and he squirms*
*breaths heavily as his getting fever now too*
L-Loki..
*opens his eyes but is not awake but heaving a feverish dream*
Brother.. don't leave me.. come back.. please come back..
*mumbles muddled* *tears falling down his eyes*
*not even knowing that Loki is right beside him*
*curls up a little and trembles in a mix of feeling cold and hot*
..I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry.. forgive me.. please forgive me..
*hums incoherently*

°Loki°

*he is sitting on the soft ground next to the glider, cuddles in the grass and the scepter resting on his lap as Thor suddenly starts to get restless; with aching bones Loki gets up to see after the other god, his movements weary and tired but he can't sleep, can't rest*

//I will protect you now.//

*he climbs back in the glider to Thor only to hear the blond's feverish mumbling, his words making him confused*

Hush, sssh it's okay, it's alright. I am at your side, I am here and...I forgave you.

//Is that true? Did I forgive him? But forgive what? Not Thor had done me bad, it had been Odin, and my real father Laufey. I have never been important, always second and always different and yet Thor didn't actually try to fight me man to man, he always tried to be there for me despite his position and future. I have forgiven him, yes..//

*he gets up and gathers water in a huge leave, trying to make Thor drink it so his insides would heal too, the magic here was everywhere and it was good, gentle magic*

*he mumbles softly and brushes a strand of golden hair out of Thor's forehead, he feels so tired, so weak but he has to stay strong for them both just once*
